Layers of senses. Contrasts of perception. Delicacy of touch. Close-ups of life forms. Reflections of shapes. Flows of love.
Every life moment is precious. The world is full of beauty and harmony.
We are surrounded by wonders!
I am Marina, a designer and an artist. My art is my love-song to the Universe we live in. I am an admirer of nature which is a great source of inspiration for me.
I am also an explorer. By making art I travel deep down to the source, to the mystery of the world creation.
In 2012 I graduated from The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts in London, where we were taught traditional principles of design based on the order of nature. I follow these principles in my work and think that we should learn beauty and harmony from the Universe. Apart from my design work I work with ceramics, do some teaching on Islamic art and plate painting classes.
In 2015 I was honoured to be a part of Al Jazeera Documentary project The Orient in Their Art presenting my design for a plate and a process of plate painting.
